Unstoppably immersive

Quantum Dot Display Technology enables a slim panel design and delivers a superior colour performance with a higher peak luminance and greater colour gamut range vs WOLED (White OLED). The monitor features an extensive cinema-grade colour coverage of DCI-P3 99.3% across a wide viewing angle, and colours are accurate out of the box with a factory calibration of Delta E less than 2.

Expect incredibly realistic visuals for gameplay that draws you in deeper thanks to 1000 nits peak brightness, infinite contrast ratio and VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certification.

Lag-free gameplay
AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro Technology and VESA® AdaptiveSync Display certification lets you experience ultra-low latency gameplay for tear-free gaming every time, and offers support for HDR-capable games.

Expect smooth gameplay and view fast-moving graphics with incredible clarity for quicker in-game reactions thanks to an industry-fastest 0.03ms GtG (Gray to Gray) response time and up to 165 Hz (native) high refresh rate.

Innovative, iconic design
The unique Legend 2.0 Premium design is the perfect blend of stunning form and enhanced functionality. In addition to its sleek QD-OLED curved 1800R panel, the AW3423DWF monitor features improved cable management, 360° ventilation for better heat dissipation and a new centralised On-Screen Display (OSD) joystick to make adjusting your settings easier. Customizable AlienFX lighting on the logo and screen size number on the back of the monitor enhances gaming ambiance.

For critical creating
For content creators and game developers who require precise colour-critical work, the new Creator Mode feature was designed for you. This OSD menu option allows you the flexibility to choose between the native (DCI-P3) and the sRGB colour space, depending on your work needs, and the ability to adjust the gamma settings.

The Picture-In-Picture (PIP) and Picture-By-Picture (PBP) feature lets you view two PC sources simultaneously for next-level multi-tasking.

Quality + comfort
The Alienware 34 Curved QD-OLED Gaming Monitor is engineered to avoid burn-in caused by items appearing onscreen for long periods of time. Additionally, you'll receive a 3-year service coverage for further quality assurance. And with ComfortView Plus, you can game longer, thanks to an always on, built-in low-blue light screen technology that reduces blue light emissions without impacting colour accuracy.

Optimise your gameplay
A revamped OSD layout with centralised joystick allows for easy navigation of the monitor’s settings and features.
Among these features is the all-new AlienVision—four custom hardware-based overlays designed to enhance your visual experience in real-time based on actual gameplay.

Still afraid of burn in use mine for work and gaming 80/20, so it's quite a gamble. Been keeping an eye out for MiniLED, but most are still pricey

This is an excellent screen but you need to always choose the monitor which is right for your use case. For gaming nothing matches this apart from the new 4k QD-OLEDs which offer better clarity and subpixel layout.

I would never use a QD-OLED for productivity such as browsing the web for hours every day or doing spreadsheets. You will get burn-in as it's inevitable. OLEDs are designed for content consumption and I'm not hating on them as I have a CX55 myself and love it. A friend of mine has got burn-in twice on his DW model.

If you primarily work with a bit of gaming, save yourself the hassle and get an IPS or miniled VA. FYI i noticed text fringing and it looked shocking at first, but you do adjust to it after a while.

Twice damn. Must be really power using it. None on mine yet and its been 2 years

"1000 nits" sounds extremely high but it's misleading. It's OLED so the max brightness seems to depend on how much is on the screen and according to Rtings tests they only get 1000 nits when displaying a tiny white square on just 2% of the screen. They gave it a 6.7/10 score for brightness.

On normal usage they get around 400 nits which is why it only gets a DisplayHDR 400 certification instead of DisplayHDR 800 or even 500. So I suppose always go by the DisplayHDR certification if it has one.

DisplayHDR 400 is still good though! Many displays still have only 300 nits or so which is no different than 10+ years ago. 400 is what I'd go for these days but 500 would be awesome. For £670 I'd really want more though I think, but it doesn't matter if you're not in a very sunny room.

Remember the screen was updated with the HDR 1000 mode to improve performance. Yes it still does do ABL but I feel that it works great as it is, if the whole screen was that bright you'd need sunglasses, it's already extremely bright on highlights like sun ocean flickers or car reflections.

I 100% wouldn't want to have it any brighter ha

Don't a lot of monitors do this?

This is 100% not a screen to truly enjoy without being in a dark room. (edited)

might bite. Was going to go with the new 32" oled or the 27" 360Hz Oled as the talk of text fringing on this monitor puts me off as it will double as a work monitor in the daytime. I have a 4070 Super. Any advice is appreciated (edited)

I got this monitor a month ago on a similar deal (dell also had interest free for 12 months!)

I use it for work and gaming, I’d say about 8-10 hours of use a day. I’ve had no issues with the text (I use a Mac if that makes any difference). I’m sure if you’re very sensitive to it you’d pick out the edges of the text, but I sit far enough back and it doesn’t cause any eye strain.

I massively rate the monitor, looks great and is awesome for gaming.

Only annoyance is the pop up every 4 hours to refresh the pixels, you can disable that though!

Good price! Shame that code is still excluding the AW2725DF...

I wonder how many of us are waiting for a discount on the AW2725DF.

I've had the monitor for a month now, having some weird issues where you switch apps on windows 11 and it will go black for a second. Also occasionally when I'm playing videos on the screen it will just go black again and again repeatedly, and the cursor will look like it's really pixelated while this is happening. I have a keyboard and monitor plugged into the monitor while this happens, and both become unresponsive while it's black, as I try to alt+f4 the video so I can use the PC again and see something on the screen. Restarting my computer seems to fix it. I'm a little annoyed with it, as I had hoped it would just work out the box. But I need to do more testing, I've got a Dell docking station with massive coil whine, which decides to cut power to the usb ports sometimes, so it could be that causing issues :/ 😮‍💨 I just wish everything wasn't so smart these days, I want a monitor that just shows picture, and a docking station that just lets me plug stuff into it, not all this power saving, hibernating, smart switching bull s**t.

haha i agree. its like we go 3 steps forward to 2 back every time. Same with HDMI Handshakes and the Dolby lip sync over HDMI Arc etc. So much technology but it only works half baked. lol

Perfect monitor, perfect for gaming and desktop work. No fringing or whatever they say, in text. Every 4 hours you get a prompt to "refresh" screen. Burn in protection. If it happens you have 3 year warranty, be sensible and stop being afraid of things you can't exactly know, just be sensible and get on with shit!!

I have this monitor. Text clarity is not good due to software issues. It is fringed unless you use software fixes. Everything else is good.

bonus- you get a jumbo jet fan noise

    joelfl2's avatar
I've had three separate units and never heard this. Unfortunate, but at least you have 14 days to spot it to return. Otherwise, 3-year warranty will cover it (but I guess you risk getting a refurb).

Fantastic monitor! Really makes a game pop and the blacks are impressive.

Have some heat! I've been mostly playing games on my PC so why not! Let this be a first upgrade to my new setup!

Is this monitor included in the new DisplayHDR 1.2 spec?

Bought this last time the code was up. Beyond happy with it and will not be buying anything but oled from now on

If anyone is struggling to decide between these QD OLEDs and the WOLEDs like the Asus 27, go with the QDLED, the Asus I got is going back, the matte finish is disgusting, looks like there's grease all across the screen, the colour saturation is a shambles. I have a Samsung G7 and was hoping to upgrade to a monitor closer to my LG Bx, bar deep blacks it is worse in everyway from my G7 and not a patch on my LG TV.

I really wish LG etc would just release a screen identical to their TV range but just cut down to 32/27 inches.

Torn between this and their more expensive 32" 4K. Either one would be an upgrade from one of their older IPS 34" monitors. Aside from the screen size, 4K resolution and almost double the hz on the 32", is there a difference?

I both appreciate and despise the ultrawide size, really hate it when a game doesn't support it.

I've an rtx 4090 which should power either screen quite happily. (edited)
    bignoyboy's avatar
if you're already in for a 4090 may as well spend the £300 more and get the substantially better 32. Better text clarity, higher refresh rate, (potentially) better + widely supported aspect ratio, more "future proof"

Top QD-OLED screen bought mine from the last deal in November 2023 for £679.9. Using for my home office twice a week and gaming, with no issues at all for 6 months.
