Specs look pretty saucy on this, that chip is pretty amazing at this price range, this is Global Rom with no Band 20, not a massive issue tbh, but something to bare in mind, as are possible customs / taxes, make sure you collect the seller coupon of £1.65

Nice one - I think band20 is for o2, right?

All providers use it in some capacity. Band 20 was an issue years ago in the UK as it was the main band, This isn't the case in the UK now as they now use band 1,7 and 8. Countries like Greece and Germany mainly use band 20 so would be an issue if visiting these countries, with the UK it's not a big deal anymore.

Description says no OTA updates. Think that's a killer of the value tbh if true.

Think this might come to UK as the OnePlus Nord something?

Probably can fix that. Just have to read on reddit, xda, or Chinese forums about it.

    Probably not today

Good price, but tempted to get the Pixel 8a on Ult everything contract with the Pixel Buds and claim the £150 cashback.

I've had the previous phone Neo 5 SE and the bang per a buck is great. On paper, they've might have fixed the camera issue with OIS, an even better chipset, but 512GB max storage compared to mine 1TB.

Under rated phone of last year, hopefully this time will shine better.

A good upgrade from a Redmi Note 10 Pro? As its a Global Rom, this means we will get updates? Does the Band 2 make much of a difference if you are with Vodafone? The last mobile i had from china was the amazing ZTE Axon 7 from Gearbest. Thanks (edited)

Not massive, but coincidentally I have no 5g - not yet available - or 3g - no longer available - signal where I live. And that's on EE network and not in a rural area.

Why is it so cheap? Suspiciously cheap!

Part of the answer is because it is from AliExpress and there is no duty to be paid upfront which people seem to get away with when it gets to UK if they are lucky and the other reason is it is found by MrSwitch who has the knack of finding most favourable prices for excellent phones with high specifications like this one. Well despite my suspicion over the cheap price I just ordered two for Mrs and I. Our current Redmi Pro 11 handsets were getting a bit long in the tooth.

Please notice, the phone supports NFC, but doesn't support OTA.
it wont get future andriod updates

I am sure you won't be disappointed and even in the unlikely event of paying the duty, you seem to have made the right decision if you needed new phones.
I am no expert on higher end phones but personally shy away from phones with Neo or T in the name, I know it is probably irrational.

And why is that? Can you expand on your statement as to why.

A very impressive performing phone at the price so heat from me, there are no issues here that would cause me an issue.

Trust you can take a joke. This is because you are a flasher📲
