How is this compared to the G2724D?
    Skrotzilla1's avatar
I got the G2724D late last year for about £189 direct from Dell using an NHS discount code, its a solid monitor, similar refresh rate etc, decent enough picture, minimal reflection.
If the two deals were side by side I would have probably gone for the above just on the merit of the screen size and the fact it was replacing a 32".
On whole both solid, well built monitors preference would really come down to budget and size preference.

A 2016 monitor but still holds its own at this price. (edited)

Unless your current monitor is junk do not bother. Got mine today. For console no better than a cheap TV and PC is just bad and grainy. Save for a decent 4k at 32". Oled is obviously the way if can afford though in this world got to prioritise. Get a C1+ it's well worth it.

Are you sure you've set up resolution correctly? Not experienced any of the issues you're having

    Tom's Hardware Verdict
The HP Omen 32q delivers big-screen gaming with a bright and colorful image, premium video processing and a surprisingly low price. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better 32-inch monitor for less than twice the money.

    Hi guys,

Would you go for the Hp or the LG ultragear 27Gr75q
    dealhunter6k's avatar
No real comparison as one is 5" bigger.

This seems like a fantastic price, I'm very tempted but wondering if the 32" screen would seem "too big" when sitting as close as you do to a monitor, since it isn't curved.

Mine has arrived, clearly a customer return.

Odd. Mine just arrived and was brand new.

Set up and is big. Not sure whether 1440p is enough for 32"
  18. dealhunter6k's avatar
Replacement came today and it is spot on. Superb screen for the price. I am only using it for office work but it is a lovely sharp picture and the PPI is not an issue, still looks better than FHD on a 27".

Slight issues with my KVM detecting it as anything other than a FHD "wired monitor" through DisplayPort so had to use a HDMI instead.

Arrived, installed and working. Clearly brand new.

Not as premium as what I am replacing - Dell 32" curved 60Hhz screen - but the picture quality and gaming perfirmance is on a different level. Usb hub and audio would have been handy but it was £188 after the discounts, so I cant grumble.

As a business dektop it is more than adequate.

As a media device - not so good. Seems to have a problem with brightness/contrast switching up and down for no obvious reason. I would investigate further if I was using it for that on a regular basis - I don't, it was bought for gaming and it does that very well.

Very happy. Bargain. May be worth it for some of the other ofers on the same device.
