About this deal

CeX have reduced smartphones recently, and you can find some absolute bargain Xiaomi phones on their site atm, including some of the latest handsets, all of the below are graded B, which means IME, good phones, with non original box, the below also includes one tablet

If you can stretch to that 13 ultra price, that is the one to choose, however, even the 10t lite under 3100 is worth a look, of course it has lost support, but no doubt a tremendous lot of phone for that kind of money imho

Kepp an eye out, as i plan on doing another smartphone thread later, depending on appetite for this one of course

B - Good - Product in good condition with all essential accessories. No box

Heat from me 😁 two year warranty is brilliant and easy returns if you're not happy.

Just returned an 18 month old laptop to them in store that was no longer connecting to HDMI. They simply sent me another one of the same grade they had in stock. And if they'd not had the stock, I'd have gotten money back, basically the price they sold the laptop for now.

    Great thread  and very timely

i have an iPhone from work so for a personal phone just need a mid price android phone as my main phone
    requirements are

    great battery life
    good UI
    great quality screen and camera
    internet banking apps must work
face unlock a big bonus as I’m so used to it on my iPhone
good software support so don’t have to change phones any time soon

I know very little of android outside of Samsung and Google premium phones and I don’t want to spend s24 ultra or P8pro prices.

does such a phone exist or am I describing a unicorn ?

    TIA

    Maybe look at a pixel?
The 8 or 8a, but the 8 better value currently. Even the 7 pro is a good option. Failing that, the oneplus 12, the Nubia z60 ultra

I've only ever bought "mint" phones - but wondering how "used" the B grade ones are? Always worried that "good" seems a bit vague. Could anyone offer any advice/ tell me their experience with buying B grade please? TIA

In my experience they are usually pretty good, just missing original box and charger (usually get a generic charger)

As much as I hate to say it, the Poco F1 is a little long in the tooth nowadays, but the Snapdragon 845 inside it, is still a capable and reasonably powerful processor for emulation.

Should be fine for up to PSP/Dreamcast/GameCube level. Might be able to play certain Wii/PS2 games as well, as long as you play around with frame skip settings.

I'm not sure you can get much better for £72 if you're using it solely for that. It fits fine into a first edition Razer Kishi in case anyone was wondering. (edited)

That Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra looks a complete bargain!

It's an old phone now though, would be worried slightly about the battery. Great cameras though. I think I'd go for 13T Pro over it .
