If you play once in a blue moon then maybe but if it's a few times a month and frequent, stay far away from cheap boots like this. This is a club tier boots (lowest tier), avoid at all costs. At a minimum an academy level boot for the durability and most importantly comfort, these club boots are stiff, rough heel liners and cheap plastic for internal heel counters that will tear your ankles. Spend a little more. Alot of of previous gen academy and pro level boots around 30 (edited)

I’ve been looking at getting a pair of trainers for all round playing as playing about once a month. Any you can recommend? I don’t mind what brand or how old they are. I’m older myself so favour comfort over looks

I’ve been studying Astro boots for a while now.

I was tempted to go for Vinted as there are some bargains but you can get injured if the boot is moulded to someone else’s foot.

Vinted do have some new boots so it’s still worth checking out.

I found a pair worth over £100 for only £35 on eBay as they were spare stock. So worth checking it out. That were .1 boots so the highest standard. Worth checking eBay out.

These boots will do for entry level though. They have enough texture to manipulate the ball. But they are the lowest tier so build quality and performance won’t be the best.

I would recommend ordering at least 1.5 sizes up. These are extremely tight. I think the sizes are incorrect hence why so cheap. Ive ordered 2 so far from this place. One i ordered half size up and another a full size up. Believe it or not the full size up is tighter than the half size up

ngl i prefer old astro trainers. I would use them as casual shoes. I would get the odd stare etc but they were super comfy. This looks a bit cheap.

I just received these, they've got studs instead of a turf sole. Anyone else had the same issue?
