Don't be fooled by big budget marketing kidding you to buy £900 sets of Callaway or Ping clubs. For the average Joe these will get the job done at a fraction of the price as the shafts and grips are identical to the expensive sets..

    If you are new or a recent convert to golf I strongly suggest you try before you buy when it comes to clubs (made that mistake myself). Good price set though

    I have this set. Used to have 20 year old set of TM and hated golf. these clubs got me hooked to golf

    Probably ok but they’re oddly priced for their target market. AG also sell the callaway mavrik irons for £399, which will be much better set if you just need new irons and not much more money.

    Alternatively if after a full set of starter clubs it’s difficult not to recommend Costco’s Callaway edge set with 3x woods and top quality odyssey putter (no bag) for £599 but sometimes on offer at ~ £479. Yes 10% blue light on everything at AG if ordered online, and if you pay using a pluxxe cash card (also nhs/emergency services) you get another 7% cashback
