I have the watch 5 and I absolutely love it. I bought it strapless. Use it for sleeping tracking, workouts, payments and the time/date/weather. Last night it was useful as a torch (screen turns bright white which is enough in complete darkness). In the gym, I connect it directly to my earbuds and have downloaded music on it so leave my phone in the locker.

I bought my own silicone black strap from Amazon for less than £10. Don't have to use Samsung straps.

It's a game changer for me.

Reasonable watch and a good price but if you want a better one get a Garmin. Better Eco system for monitoring your health and fitness is what I found.

I got the watch 6 unopened from eBay for £90, they were flooded with them after a promotion. Might still be many available.

Had this watch for ages and it's great, but the strap feels really annoying in the heat for me

I've had one of these for a while now and I'm underwhelmed.

On occasion, it drops the connection to my Google Pixel phone during the day, so I miss notifications. I've posted this on a forum and the conclusion was that unless you have a Samsung device this is normal.

If anyone has a 'fix' please let me know.

What's the best watch to buy which doesn't need premium subscriptions?
    L33TL33's avatar
None of them require premium subscriptions…

    Not for me.
Used Galaxy Active 2 for 2 years charging it every other day before it got wet in the shower.
Yes it's rated to 5ATM, yes it's got a swim program, yes there are promo pics in a swimming pool.....
    But try telling Samsung that
Awful attitude, no accountability. Back to Fitbit for me
