The law has set a minimum age of 25 years for this policy and where it appears to the person selling the alcohol that the customer may be under the age of 25 years, ID can be requested. Because of this law, you may be asked to produce identification if you appear under the age of 25, to prove that you can lawfully purchase alcohol. We accept passport or driving licence only; any other form of identification, such as PASS cards won’t be accepted. Butlin’s reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to an adult if they’re accompanied by someone who we believe is under the age of 18 without ID.

  • Alcoholic drinks will be served from 11am during your break.
  • Package entitlement begins when you are wearing your wristbands (provided in welcome packs) and ends at midday on your day of departure.

Surely this will only encourage people to drink as much as they can to get their moneys worth which is not a good thing in a family resort, imagine the potential for antisocial behaviour, puts me off even going!

I was just posting this on another deal.

Thought bottomless alcohol is prohibited on the licensing act.

Been a while since I did my personal license

We are a family of 4 with a grandparent so 5 in total.....that works out at £875 for a 7 night break! We 100% would never spend that on drinks especially when you have drinks facilities in the accommodation. Don't get me wrong for some families who drink a lot then it might be worth it but its certainly a lot of money....even more than some of the accommodation! Sorry 😞

At £5 or £6 a pint (or however much they cost) this is a great offer if your planning on going

Theres something wrong when £50/day for drinks for a couple is actually a deal

On a cruise the price is often £50-80 a day per person.
Not that either is a particular bargain mind you.

Unlimited fizzy pop for £70 a week per child.
    You have to be joking?

£10 a day, a soft drink at lunch, a mocktail with dinner and a soft drink in the evening and you’ve got your moneys worth. It’s really not that bad value.

When we went, we took a lot of our own drinks so wasn’t worth it. But its not a bad price for people who don’t want to do this.

Gonna get a few of those strewn across the floor who drink in excess.

The one thing we always take to butlins is lots of drinks. I buy reusable bottles and fill them with pop or water. We take a couple of bottles of wine and beer too.

Bad luck if you have any kids aged 14 to 18, they're excluded from this deal.

Go to Butlins like a secret alcoholic and you will save even more money.

Obviously please drink responsibly for the sake of your health and of course your wealth. I've put this last paragraph in for those who might get easily offended by my distasteful joke. (edited)

Nice they doing this but for a week for 2 ppl that's £350 for just drinks. Going abroad for example is usually £150 in the popular regions and that includes food. The tax here is the main problem sadly. (edited)

Would imagine that 2 people only going to Butlins is more of a minority as well.

I would imagine most would be 2 adults, 1 child or more. And as they force everyone in the booking to take the deal it would be £420 for a week, for 2 adults and 1 child. (£490 for 2 Adults and 2 Children)

Save the money. Buy drinks from supermarket and then drink in your room.

This deal is a bit deceptive if you just read the deal title.

It's buried in the T&Cs small print, but a very key restriction on this deal is:

'All guests in a party must take the All Inclusive Drinks Package. '

You cannot just pay for 1 or 2 people in your party. It's everyone or no one.

So 2 adults and 2 children would be £70 per day (£90 if school holiday break), even if only one Adult wanted the deal. You cannot add this on for individuals.

Definitely not worth it unless both adults intend to drink heavily. (edited)
