    Unless you really need the additional 2 cores the 5600X is considerably cheaper than this on Amazon DE. For gaming there is hardly any difference and most users would probably be just fine with 6 cores.

    Great value processor, I paid over £330 during height of covid and cpu/gpu shortages, I used this only for video editing and streaming , very reliable and still very capable.

    I bought my Ryzen 5 3600 in Jan 2020 before most of us realised how serious COVID would become. Still using it. Haven't needed any more power yet. Hoping that ARM takes off on the desktop, but I think I will be still upgrading this system to x86. Would be perfect if I could wait it out for ARM.

    Best CPU for performance and value on Ryzen 7. If you can afford it and serious into gaming get the 3D version but this one will not bottlenectk top tier cards for sometime.
