This or the LG 65QNED916QE from Costco, which is now £629.99 (obviously works out at £140 more with the gift card)?

    Rather depends on usage.

The Costco one is better model but whether the difference warrants the extra cost is subjective.

You can keep heading up in price from that one for even better models.

Costco one has better screen tech, better processor, better in built sound, and having 120hz capable screen is better for ps5/series x gaming and possibly viewing sport.

But if that's worth the extra is your call.

The 55" LG Nanocell I bought a couple of years ago had terrible local-dimming. It appeared to have only 4 vertical zones, which made it horrible to watch HDR Dolby Vision content in the dark as you could see a whole zone lighting up just to boost brightness in a small area, e.g. a street lamp. Better if you turned dimming down to a minimum, in which case what is the point of having it.
Perhaps newer or larger models are better?
You may want to look a TCL QLEDs which are getting extremely good reviews. Check Costco. (edited)
