    Came today.
Warranty void if removed sticker is on the cellophane that the box is wrapped in... Interesting!

Also, SCAN don't appear to be on the list of approved third party retailers that NZXT require for warranty to be valid - as specified in their T&C's.
How exactly is SCAN advertising/enforcing the supposed 10 year (NZXT) warranty? Anybody dealt with NZXT warranty and SCAN before? (edited)

Maybe NZXT hasn’t updated the reseller list but as far as I’m aware scan is a pretty big player in the UK so you shouldn’t have any issues, it’s not like your buying from Joe Jalopy on eBay.

wow wow wow.... not in need of a psu but would jump on dis.

Ordered it. Likely twice what my new build needs but it will leave me prepared for the next GPU upgrade. Efficiencies peak around 50% anyway so I'll likely make the difference back by then.

Top tier on the current revision of PSU tierlist.
Superb price for this, cheaper than some 1000w PSUs in the same bracket. (edited)

Shouldn't be though. Gold efficency for this wattage is revealing. Real top tier of same wattage naturally by defaut will be Platinum or Titanium. And yes there is a difference that is noticeable, hence the existence of the ratings. Some of the time the higher wattage paired with lower 80 plus rating can point towards other lesser factors that aren't measured / tested such as power usage during idle time / no load.

Thanks OP. Had my eye on some of the ASUS ROG PSUs but ultimately they seem a little overkill especially for the prices and RGB lighting.

Thanks OP, bought one of these to use for my new build when the new chips are out later this year.

Damn, bought Seasonic Focus 750w a week ago or so. Don't need even 750w, but considering the price, I would bite that one instead. (edited)

    Question to you all.....

Would this be a good future proof power supply ??
Not in the respect of power output but it's connections . Also what the next brand quality like ??
This seems like it would last me 2-3 upgrades if it has the 10 year warranty.
    gozo's avatar
Yes, it's great future proofing. Unless you're doing something extreme, I cannot imagine you needing more wattage.
Connections are the most recent, so nothing will need anything new in the near future.
It should last 2-3 upgrades if that's how quickly you're getting new GPUs.
Only thing holding me back is that it's apparently a wee bit noisy.

Got it. Very good price for the market today . Upgrading because my 850w looks like it's not doing the job anymore after I installed a 6950xt
