Hi there
Recently I bought a NEW Samsung galaxy s22 ultra from a reputable online shop (3 letter name company, I cannot mention the name here as mods have already deleted my previous submission) and the phone arrived last night. The seals are intact but it's mentioned that "European model. This product was originally put on the market by samsung in a European country which was not the UK. The product was brought into the UK by Brand smart which has opened the packaging and has made the following changes. Replaced the existing firmware on the product with an English firmware variant and samsung has been notifies of the changes.
Any one has similar experience? Anything I need to be worried about?
Thanks in advance.

sorted byFlashing a different region firmware is fine as long as the phone has not been rooted. If you took it in for repair however they would flash the original country firmware back on to it.
But yeah, if you want complete peace of mind and not live life on the edge then buy UK stock only. I should add that my US version just worked out of the box which came factory sealed. (edited)
