sorted byIt’s exactly as described there is a momentary loss of power to devices whilst it balances the output. I’ve a USB C hub connected to mine which is then charging a MacBook Air and giving HDMI out. When I connect my phone to second port the laptop stops charging and then restarts charging seconds later, whilst it does this the screen output to external monitor also dies. So basically it’s like the USB hub has been disconnected.
Not ideal on a MacBook as when always on power it deactivates the battery charging to prolong the battery life, this interruption to the power supply kicks the battery charging back in again even though it’s not needed.
First time my GaN charger was charging my steam deck, I came back to smoke smell. The charger was extremely hot and my steam deck didn't boot for a few hours. usb port and USB C DP video output didn't work . weirdly my audio from speakers and aux stopped working even after a factory reset. Ugreen customer service wasn't able to help me regarding the charger, so I got a return refund via Amazon. Luckily Valve customer service was great and replaced it with a brand new steam deck.
I now own this same 100W charger and recently was forced to use the usb A output and it doesn't work! It's sad, they seem to have cool products but either I have bad luck or they have bad QC.
Edit: Managed to complete as guest. Google login and Paypal both failed. (edited)
