About this deal

Get Unlimited mins, Unlimited SMS plus 5GB of data every month for 12 months for a one-off charge of £45. Existing customers will have this bundle added to their account, new customers will be sent a new SIM to their delivery address.
Does not include EU Roaming.

Like a traditional SIM card, an eSIM stores the data your device needs to use the network. ‘eSIM’ simply means an embedded SIM, but unlike a physical SIM card, an eSIM is already built into your device. It also allows you to have multiple lines on a device, that you can switch between.

The RWG Mobile eSIMs run on the Three network and allows VoLTE and WiFi calling. Our eSIMs are available on Pay Monthly plans over £5 only and some of our Buy & Forget range.

Not voting either way , but they have near zero customer service , never ever answer phone, emails take days to respond, seems like a small one man band

Doesn't have to be an esim you can choose a regular SIM.

@ Mr.Plow according to the RWG Mailshot, the new RWG regular sims that work on the Three network are only available on the new Unlimited Plan:

There is no guarantee that this eSIM deal is available on a regular SIM, which is why I have stressed eSIM.

Not sure if it is a cynical comment or you actually had a good experience. Has been really bad experience communicating with them

    Reminds me of Ovivo
Feels like A mobile service Ponzi scheme. Hope I'm wrong.
Mind you, one of our family SIM is on RWG deal from 5y back. Still works.

Probably the worst mvno out there. Don't believe the hype about these being on the EE network. Had people calling me 20-30 times before the RWG lottery call system put people through. Getting responses from the CS or even trying to ring them is a task in itself

Is there any rolling contract for £2-3 per month mainly for incoming calls (as a back up phone). Only RWG has one but after reading the reviews need to look for alternative.

Spusu (EE) Have a £2.90 Offer with 1GB Data and unlimited mins and texts. Go via MSE.

Lebara (Vodafone) have a £3.95 offer, at £1.58 for the first 3 months if you go via Uswitch. 200 Mins, unlimited texts, 1GB Data.

If it's mostly for incoming calls though, you might be better off on a cheap pay as you go account? O2 Classic is 3p a minute, 2p a text, 1p a megabyte. Credit doesn't expire. Account remains active if you make a chargeable call at least once every 180 Days.

Have they moved from EE then?

Reading over on ISPreview forums the esim is activating as Gamma.
They may have moved, or they had issues with EE, who knows.

I almost bought this, but the reviews.. I ended up with Lebara. Very happy with my choice and it's pretty much the same price

Have the 2 year mobile data sim. Mobile data doesn't work

does it limit the data usage so you don't get charged more?

and can you dial premium numbers or does it stop that?

i like the idea of this for spare phone.. just want to make sure it wont run up another bill.

    thanks

Like others - best to avoid!

Got 2 year sim for daughter. It's running off EE and after a month or so the data stopped.

Have the £5 monthly sim for EU roaming without restrictions (Time limits) works for me so far.

i had a 12 month sim that stopped working. Turns out i needed to make a call or text at least once every 90 days or it will go into a suspended state and you need to email them to reactivate.
