This is an unbelievable deal given that it includes the Fender Paramount hard case. I've had the all-mahogany version of this for over a year. I sold the case for about £70 alone on eBay. I'm a fairly experienced player and really really like the guitar, particularly once I was done with a bit of tinkering. I bought a bone saddle and brass bridge pins (about a tenner outlay) which make it sound extremely impressive. I also replaced the strings with extra light gauge which is my preference and adjusted the truss rod and filed down the bone saddle to get the action to my liking. It plays very nicely indeed. I’m doing my searches but does anybody have any experience with this model? I’d say for a beginner/intermediate player

I had this exact guitar delivered on Tuesday, it actually came down in price to £197 which strangely made it cheaper than the CD60SCE without a case and a plastic nut and saddle rather than the nubone one on this.

Solid top makes this better than most affordable acoustics.

It apparently also had improved electronics, not tried them yet.

It's really great, low action but no fret buzz other than by my bad playing. Nice sound, quite bassy when you play harder, can get loud being a dreadnought.

I checked it over as closely as I know how and no defects I can spot. Don't feel the need to do any setup changes out of the box.

Case is great to have. I'm chuffed so far. (edited)

im pondering the yamaha fg830 or the yamaha ll6 anyone know if there much difference besides the price, fg830 is cheaper...im thinking playability between the two.

I don't think you can really go too far wrong with either, from what I've heard. I've owned an LL6 and it was a really nicely made guitar, finished really well. With the standard setup 'out of the box' it wasn't any better to play than this Fender though, I really think you need to set up whatever you have to your preference anyway. I don't have experience of the FG830 but all the Yamahas I've tried have been good guitars.
