What does this do? How will it improve my life? And why do I need to spend £500 on a bit of plastic. Thankyou anyone.

oh go on, I'll bite. It's a smart/sports watch. It might improve your life by allowing you to keep track of your fitness, health and sleep and help inform changes you could make for the better. The bezel is stainless steel, not plastic. You're welcome

(Edit) If you're having to ask, you probably don't need one (edited)

Good price, and you can use Perkbox or similar to get more money off.

Sorry, but this is a very ordinary price for this watch if it is, indeed the Fenix 7X as per the title on the Argos website.

The problem is that the description is for a different watch i e. the 7X Pro. Before anyone accuses me of splitting hairs, the differences between the two watches are significant e.g. Amoled screen, solar screen, new HR monitor, improved GPS sensor etc.

Just to add to the confusion, the pictures on the website are for the 7X Solar, yet another different model.

If this really is the 7X Pro then you are getting yourself a bargain. If it's the 7X then you are paying way, way too much. If it is the 7X Solar then you are still overpaying by about £70. If you have access to one of the many affiliate discount platforms you can currently get it for just £409 using the PAW-SPRING2024 code. (edited)

Just to clarify the Fenix (pro or normal) does not have AMOLED screen, for the top end you need the Epix to get AMOLED. (edited)

Yer, they are not the best looking watch, I swore by garmin for the last 6 years, until I did a marathon with my fenix 6 and the distance came out at 26.6, That's a third of a mile extra!!! Might swap to apple, and they have better apps than the crap on garmin, just need to charge it more often

I wouldn't say 400m is grossly far off the mark over 42.2k, especially when you consider that you might have been weaving around other runners and not sticking strictly to the shortest possible line from start to finish

garmins are so ugly for this price it should look nice and not like a £20 plastic casio

They are a functional robust outdoors watch, if you want pretty get a pixel.

Mine has taken a battering climbing, hiking and navigating the length of the Swiss Alps and still looks like new.

I've got the sapphire version. It's a banging watch and does everything you could want it to do and more. Great battery.. only charge every 3 weeks and that's with tracking gym and outdoor workouts. Great watch for the money

Looks like most retailers have it at this price. Would this indicate a possible new watch to be released or does this watch regularly go on sale?

But which watch will you get?. The one in the title, the one in the pictures or the one in the description. Three different watches. Typical Argos amateurism. They shouldn't be allowed to sell stuff that they don't understand.
