Are these the replacement to the "Brita+" filters or a 'higher spec' filter (if there's such a thing).

Been waiting on a year supply deal of filters that comes along every now and again but I'm on my last Brita+ filter now so this may be the stop gap solution

Available now and cheaper than the other deal at amazon yet this is cold in comparison. What am I missing or does this some up this site? (edited)

Probably how easy it is to buy from Amazon and the other one was posted first, even though it was just a 2 minute difference.

Why do they keep rebranding and changing the design? I had to throw away a perfectly fine jug because they changed from Maxtra to “Maxtra+” which was more rounded.
