I bought this few weeks ago. Batteries are good but the blade/ cutting disc/accessories are bad quality. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Be careful with these. They use metal blades not the usual plastic spool/blades.

They do look like death traps. Watch the video too, it looks convoluted to set up and configure.

I have a Black and Decker one of these with a 2000mAh battery. It wont last much longer than twenty/thirty minutes at a time. If you can hot swap them though that shouldn't be too bad!

Jeez, no way I would buy one of these.
    Be like watching Final Destination.
First rock and you've got half a blade stuck in your head.
Brand name should be Natural Selection
    No thanks.

That blade on it looks like something from a Saw movie! Watch your ankles using this!

Could be ideal for unwanted door knockers... Nottingham Knockers, canvassers etc

Seems cheap, but that is probably going to be the problem with it too.

Is This one better? Makita batteries (edited)

As I said in another comment, I bought a similar one to this for £30 last year because it has wheels and was Makita compatible, but many of them can use Makita batteries or are compatible with other makers' batteries. Just check the description closely.

Thanks OP. Going to try this as garden tools nowadays are often too heavy for me, so perhaps the wheels on this will help

Can't beat a Petrol Stihl and their Stihl/compatible Polycut Blades.

My petrol Einhell brushcutter has just died. Do you have a link for the Stihl? Thanks.

Avoid if over the height of 5'10". The money you save will be swallowed up by the chiropractor you need for the painful back. Speaking from experience (minus the chiropractor part) after purchasing something similar of Amazon.

We ordered this but after 20 mins of use, it's going back for a refund. It could barely cut grass and really struggles. The motor makes rattling sounds and vibrates during use, despite everything being tightened. Thanks anyway OP but I wouldn't recommend this one. It didn't feel safe to use. I'd say you get what you pay for with these, but the battery on our £200 Bosch strimmer died straight out of its 2 year warranty. Bosch want £120 for a new battery. Jokers

    Customers say
Customers like the versatility of the string trimmer. For example, they say it has several attachments and blades that allow it to cut through weeds and grass easily. Customers are also impressed with the performance, saying it works well and is brilliant once started. They appreciate the value for money, saying the two batteries can sustain for at least 45 minutes. Customers like that it has a powerful motor and is lightweight. However, some customers have reported issues with the ease of assembly and durability. Opinions are mixed on the quality.
