    I prefer The Amazon own brand passata.

    By my family’s taste, it’s spot on and the right consistency.

    Also half the price of these.

    Great deal on a delicious passata, but when I ordered this last month the sell-by date was 01 May 24 - quite a short date for what is usually a long-life product.

    best before date* not sell-by date.

    They mean nothing, you can still use them.

    Complain to Amazon and you’ll be refunded and probably get to keep them. Being in glass jars they will maintain their taste and be perfectly edible long past the BBE date.
