What's The Policy On Pre-Owned Deals?

I was just wondering what the site's policy is on pre-owned deals?

I was under the impression that they weren't allowed, but there have been a few lately that have been allowed to stay.

They've been allowed for ages, I remember someone posting loads of games from "Game" a few months back.

He listed about 5 games is separate threads within minutes of each other.

I can't say for certain as I've never used them, but I doubt it as I'm guessing it depends on what's been traded in.

I've had deals removed in the past for being pre-owned, but more recently they seem to be allowed.

Pre-Owned usually meaning traded in. Previously Viewed Meaning ex-rental.

Game/Gamestation/CEX all have pre-owned games etc available to buy online and CEX has a "live" stock update showing what stores hold stock and how many copies different stores have.

Is the difference pretty clear between pre-owned and refurb? i.e. one is actually used by a person whereas the other is generally a return and then clean up to 'as new' by the merchant.

Do you mean in reference to Game, CEX, Gamestaion, etc. or in general?

If the first then yes, they are listed as Pre-Owned (i.e second hand) and sold as such.
