Latest o2 PAYG tariffs/freebies & tips!

Ok the T&Cs on o2's PAYG freebies have changed so here is what you can get on a min top-up of £10 a month, plus the extra freebies and a little data tip too:

NB: My 500 mins still work as long as I am within 5 miles of my postcode, as most areas have more than 1 cellsite which is accessible from both your postcode and another area. Because o2 can't tell exactly where you are, you get the call free :)
You can change your postcode once every 30 days by texting CHANGEPLACE plus your new postcode to 22204 free.

Extra Freebies (can be used together and in addition to the above tariff)

10 percent back on all your top-ups every 3 months
To join text REWARD to 50202 (free). You will get a reminder email after 3 months to claim back 10% of all your top-ups in the three month period (ie, for £50 top-ups from January to March, you get £5 extra credit in April).
To check your balance any time text BALANCE to 50202 (free).
To claim your O2 Reward text CLAIM to 50202 (free). It will be credited to you in 48hrs as long as you claim in the following timeframes:

Treats

Just call 2211 from your o2 mobile for a list of treats (typical treats: 30 days free voicemail, 15 free texts a month, 15 minutes free calls). You need to have been with o2 PAYG for 6 months + to qualify.

o2 Upgrade

Upgrade and get 10% of the value of your top-ups as call time worth up to £200 or 5% as discount off a new handset up to £100. Based on top ups over the last 18 months or since connection or your last upgrade whichever is the most recent.

Extra tip: all tariffs come with 1MB browsing allowance. Further data usage is chargeable. If you have a link to a free wallpaper or ringtone WAP site (and there are lots out there!), wait until the end of the month until you have 60p or so credit (you need 60p credit to access o2 WAP, *sometimes* it doesn't notice and lets you connect on less/nothing, this can be phone-model-dependent. Once you are connected download as much as you want - it cannot charge you the extra data you are using in transfer (as you credit will go to zero) and it doesn't 'buffer' the charges and remove them next time you top up. This also works when you connect your mobile to your laptop for mobile wap browsing (yep, it's possible, if limited!). Basically you're getting as much data as you want/need for 60p (handy if you are on a train and checking all your emails/downloading free games etc!)
