www.lastminute.com have holidays for July and August from Birmingham Intl / Bristol / Edinburgh / Glasgow / Gatwick Airport / Manchester / Newcastle Intl / Southampton to Austria at 3 star hotels on a 7 day half board basis. from £179 per person (kids £149 each). Put in Austria and lakes and mountains.

Most of the reviews of the Hotel Harfenwirt are really good. Shame we booked to somewhere else, as I wish we could go on this break. Went to Austria in December (Salzburg) and loved it.Very different than any other holiday we have been on-lovely people, very relaxed atmosphere and great love of music. Would love to go here after reading the reviews and sing along to Herbert the hosts harp and accordian at night. He seems to be quite a character. Maybe next year!!

Just checked this am and 16th august currently avaiable from Glasgow Niederau for £199 pp. Also 2 others for £199 avaialble from Glasgow international. Tryolean houses Maryhofoen 2 and 16 and 9 and 16th at st Johann £199

Thank you so much. We had decided to only go away for a few days in August to Lancashire but this was too good to miss. Booked yesterday. We are still awaiting confirmation email but have spoken to 'help line' who confirmed they have our booking & that invoice will be sent tomorrow. Kids will miss last day of school before the summer holidays never mind. This seems about £100 cheaper each than the other Austrian Tirol hotels.
Saving £400 for our family it's the difference between whether we went or not.

ive been looking at this for a while, it a great price, have emailed to see if they can guaruntee a room for my whole party of 1 adult 3 kids as it says 'twin rooms' and my eldest has to travel as an adult (13yrs) but i dont want 2 x twin rooms as 2 kids will be seperate from me, good price though!
