replys or views? ok i see it has replys, maybe they got deleted for thread spoiling, maybe the members delted themselves, although unusual, or may the site is still having midges

The total includes moderated posts.... replies from a newbie that have not yet been approved by the mods.

The system puts some posts into a "moderation queue" when it suspects there may be something wrong. It is still counted in the post count as the post is there, it's just hidden.

The user had carried on posting, meaning that the moderation queue kept catching them. I've sorted it now.
