Cold votes

(MOD's please move if i put in the wrong section, sorry :) )

I keep going on about this but its getting really silly. There are some people on here (you know who you are) who vote cold for apparently no reason. There are others of you who vote cold for very strange reasons (don't like the retailer, dont like the colour, having a bad day etc)

I would like to see some sort of feature to prevent/minimise this from happening to avoid ruining deals that are otherwise good. I have a couple of suggestions, though im sure others will have some good ideas also and please feel free to post them, hopefully a mod will integrate one of them.

1. Prevent people from voting COLD without creating a post saying why it is cold. People will still be allowed to vote hot with no reason. Hopefully this will minimise some peoples spoiling behaviour.

2. Allow people to vote hot or cold, however, their temperature increase gets a bonus of (for example) 33% extra IF they make a post at the same time.

I had another idea but i forgot it just now so will add when i remember :)

I hope, for all our sakes that we can come up with some really good ideas, and perhaps they will get implemented and we can look forward to more genuine hot/cold votes and more informative posts!
