Just been on ebuyer and seen this. It's the cheapest i've seen the 8800GT anywhere. Also the card is overclocked, though they don't seem to be shouting about it. If i remember correctly the core clock should be 600MHz but the Zotac model is 660MHz. Here is what they say on the site.....

on a serious note, can it run crysis on very high settings on a 1440 x 900 monitor?
is this the graphics card that is worth upgrading from my rusty 8500gt? or shud i just hold on for a bit longer? (again)

Great price for this card. But if you're willing to spend the extra I think a 4850 offers a lot more bang for the buck and is a much better investment going forward.

Can't dispute that but does cost 25% more have an 8800gt and great card when i next upgrade will probably get two 4850's for crossfire if i was looking for a single card at this time would pay the extra for 4850 myself

really? thought it was the most popular graphics card at the moment followed by the 7600, it's certainly what developers look at when making their games.

A GTX 280 Tri-SLI setup will run Crysis at 50fps average at maximum settings and 1920x1200, although it drops down to only 25-30fps for 2560x1600

I had one of these, it wont run Crysis on medium over 20fps let alone high! and it's not too keen on overclocking either!

Ran everything else like a dream though.

I flogged it and got an 8600 GT which runs Call of Duty 4 just fine (which is the only game I play on my PC )

It cost about £160 3 or 4 months ago though so a real bargain.
