this isnt a pir on the deal they are 20 pounds its just a normal one

this is the one in the picture, still not bad for £20

About time they started making these with low energy long life bulbs, maybe LED.

Sorry - cold deal, this is just a standard Halogen outdoor lamp with an automatic daylight sensor ****NO PIR ***.

As you can get these from B&Q for about the same price and the ones with a PIR for only a few quid more this is a poor deal and not well priced.

If you want to be eco freindly try getting a solar powered security light from prehaps Maplin http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...0light&doy=4m7 which although more expensive, don't require mains power and might be more suitable for what you want. (I've not tried these so if there not want you want don't blame me - see pic below ).

Those will give off a piddling amount of light.
