I had just picked up a box of the Magners and I saw a young lady in a bright yellow T-Shirt clearly employed by Asda moving swiftly before me and telling me not to buy that! Knowing I am a little over weight I thought she was recomending not buying alcohol as it is detremental to my health. She then persuaded me to approach her collegue at a promotional stand who was menacingly brandishing a pack of 12 bottles of Bulmers. They then proceeded to tell me how much better a deal the bulmers was because it was only 70p a bottle but a full pint or 568ml to those only operating in metric rather than the Magners mere 500ml. They then proceeded to offer me a small sample of Bulmers, which I felt obliged to drink and I confirmed their claims it was very nice. While i was under the influence of cider they removed the Magners from my trolley and added the 12 bottles of Bulmers to it and thrust 12 invividual 50p discount vouchers in my hand. I then proceeded to the till there the transaction was completed and 12 bottle of Bulmers were aquired for £8.40. When I returned home I was concerned that the Bulmers was actually more expensive that the Magners, but a simple calculation confirmed that the cost per ml was the same.
Do you think I should boycott Asda for this mugging or just relax, throw some ice in a glass and pour one of those Bulmers over the ice and drink it slowly. Hotukdeal users advice please?
