I had one of these (different make). The switch was set on a spring on the top. It switched itself off a few times, so I got rid. If the switch is a push button on the top, I'd avoid it. If it is a rocket switch, then all well and good. Voting hot, it the hopes that it is not push button.

does anyone know where u can get one of these with individual switches per socket? i have a flat strip with 6 on at the moment but need more. a tower is preferable.

Bought one of these a month or two back from Argos, for nearly double the price; has served me well enough so far (although I suppose there's not much margin for error with these things really!).

Still say it's a good price for what it is.

Its a matter of personal choice but I would always choose a Belkin Surgemaster over any other surge protection device.
