I'm not being subscribed to some of my own threads

It doesn't, think bod' brought this up a while back

Ya have to use thread tools to subscribe or post again.

Someone posted a thread about this a couple of weeks ago - you don't get automatically subscribed to your own threads, and so you have to post in it to be subscribed... daft, isn't it?!

Something to do with vBulletin, apparantly! (Don't ask - I've no idea!)

Ah, cheers guys. I think over the last month ive prob started a ton of threads which have had replies but not looked at them again. lol

Stick a reply in after you've posted.

Heh, I don't know. It's a fix for now, though.

So, use one of your 'bumps' straight away?

I suppose if you were to remember to post a reply you could remember to subscribe to the thread, haha.

I think the point it this:

I have the following option set to email me instant notifications:

"Default Thread Subscription Mode - When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread."

The fact remains that although it says it will work when you post a new thread, it doesn't.

I know how to add a manual subscription, or to post in my thread to make it work, but the fact remains that it SHOULD work without having to do this... shouldn't it?
