Sky Price Increase

Had a letter through the door saying that my sky bill is going up from 29 to 37!!!!!
Not even had it a month yet and the price has goen ,do they do this all the time?
4 mix and match, 10 net and gone up in less than a month. threw a wobbler on the phone and apparently its only gone up to 30 but its still gone up?

Usual Sky trick. Goes up every year but normally September.

if you signed a contract with them should you not pay the same price for 12 months?

they're putting mine up in September by £4 per month, have the all three services haven't rang them yet was waiting for it to be free...is it free to complain now? only had the service 7 months.

makes you wonder if everyone would if that discounted sky + box was actually discounted or they figure they'll just claim it back off you by hiking their subscription costs.

Also if they put it up by £100 per month would you still be locked into the 12 month contract?

No.......i think you could claim it was an unfair price hike but upto about £10 then they can get away with that............i'd cancel but i'd miss HD now.

Sy, have you had anything through about an increase? I've got HD too, and heard nothing - looks like it might just be the smaller SKY packages that are going up.

Wish they'd just drop the HD sub now (or at least give free Multiroom with it)

No.......not heard a dicky bird from them. I reckon they will drop the HD sub sometime in the new year as they are now trying to phase out the old boxes and get everyone on Sky+ & HD.

We cancelled the movies and the multi-room last week and were told it was definately going up, but cant remember by how much

here we go

Sky digital subscription: Sky digital subscription required for Sky digital programming. Packages currently £16-£45 a month. All prices will increase by up to £2 from 1 September 2008 (except for non-Sports packages with Sky Movies 1 and/or 2 which stay the same)
