local deals

there are a lot of local deals creeping up..such as 'paint reduced in tesco in store x' etc.u got my point. now these are hot deals...but not worth being made hot on main page 'deals' which is a national thing.

so why not make a local subsection were people can searh whats hot in THEIR area?!

Reduced items in a store are a waste of time here.

Things on OFFER, yes. Things REDUCED with the yellow stickers, no.

Seriously, they'll be gone by the time you've left the store - let alone got home, posted it on HUKD and someone's been out to have a look...

Can we just clarify for my wilting old brain that you are talking about not posting something like
Tesco saucepans reduced by half at Potter Bar store only

as opposed to something like the following thread which benefited loads of members although technically only initially posted as a local deal:

ok maybe they should start life in deals but then the OP and mods can shift it to the local section once it has been confirmed it is not nationwide?
