A tip for anyone who can't / doesn't get one of these.

If you have kids, get a Nitty Gritty comb (Thats the brand name). They're £10 in Boots, and the best nit comb available (any respecting parent will tell you ;))

But you don't need to buy them. They're available on prescription, and as children get free prescriptions...quids in!
Your doctor may not know about it, but you can go to the Nitty Gritty website and get a downloadable leaflet to show your doctor where to look for the right code.

Our 13 month old got headlice which before it was noticed, my wife and I also got. Quite fasinated by them if i'm honest and like most saddo's online i did some research and found they have been in our hair for over 10,000 years and have valves that close their oxygen intake as soon as they come in contact with water so to not drown. Still i was happy when they were gone ;)

Couldn't agree more, I got one of these through my doctor, had to print off the leaflet and give it to reception, the prescription was ready a few days later (easy peasy)
By FAR the best nit comb we've used, and we've tried a few, lol.
