I'm not sure what the original source is I'm afraid. I just noticed that every month there is a new "You At Work" code, and I tried changing JUL for AUG and it worked on the site.

If possible, could you share the source of the code? Its just that for reserve and collect orders, you (try!)to claim your discount instore, so if you want to try to use it there, knowledge of where it came from might be handy! Deffo works for home delivery - good spot. Edit update: when entered, the code says 'You At Work Discount: 5%' - not entirely sure what this is. http://corporate.youatwork.co.uk/ It looks like it's a subsidiary of the Barclays Group offering information on discounts available to "eligible" employees of companies that participate in the "You at Work" scheme. So, if you don't work for a company that participates in these incentive schemes, then it might be safer to give it a miss. You never know, one day you might be asked for "proof" of entitlement. Note on PC World online shopping checkout...

(For reserve&collect orders please claim your discount instore)  ) I just got back from an hour wasted arguing with a PC World store manager.The above quote from the PC World website shows that they DO expect people to enter the store to collect their reserved goods and claim a discount - SO why will they always say no when you get there??? The manager did not understand that in all innocence a person could see a route to a discounted price, effectively an advertisement of a price which was then refused in store. I believe that this is a subtle mispresentation that the sale of goods act outlaws. The fact that we saw an item advertised at a price motivated us to reserve the product, drive to the store and ask for the goods. Only then, when we were psychologically primed to do the deal, do we find that it is more expensive. This has us at a disadvantage and I think is unfair and unlawful. Anyone agree? i managed get the 5% discount at the store with a reserve and collect..
just took the item to the till and said that on the website it says for "Reserve and collect clain discount instore," The guy said he did not know naything about it but he checked their website at the till and said ok i will give you the discount |
