EXPIRED - Chefs Knives: Globals/Tojiros/Henckels

Looking for recommendations on some good quality chefs knives as I do a lot of cooking and am tired of trying to dice things with a blunt blade.

Don't want to spend anymore than £100 for the set which must include a parer and a carver.

My friend is a chef and he absolutely will not cook with anything other than his very expensive set of globals. So I'm gonna say that is where you need to go.

Rather than buying a knife block, my friend bought the roll and just adds knives as and when he can. The benefit is that he brings his roll with him whenever if cooks for friends or at barbeques :-)

glad to be of help and the set comes with a sharpening steel!
I went ot a cookshop to test the Henckel 4 star and the chef's knife is a whopper but it felt solid.....the blade is real sharp.
