I've been looking for a new cheap sofa and found this offer at Argos. One ordinary and one large Belvedere sofa for £179.99 plus £5.95 postage. Don't forget Quidco and the bank holiday voucher offer to save a little more.

Wow, that's a lot of sofa for not a lot of money! Argos furniture's never up to much, but at that price you can't complain. Great find!

Also if you can wait. Don't expect these to arrive anytime soon. My ex order some 6 weeks ago and the delivery time has just been quoted as another 4 weeks.

i just received a pair of sofas from argos after a long wait. i was surprised to see they were made in china. is there anything they don't make

I know what you are saying about quality etc but I am looking for stop-gap and we can't all afford to pay top prices for quality. The cheapest pair of better quality sofas I could find online was over £500. Cheaper quality sofas elsewhere are around £350-£400 a pair. At just over £85 per sofa I don't mind taking a risk on delivery and am not expecting high quality - just somewhere to sit down!
