actually you`ll find if you telephone sky up and ask to be put through to cancellation department saying you can get a cheaper deal with another provider they will offer you sky + free with free installation this is what myself and my family did and we got it !!

I tried to cancel to get it for free, they eventually offered it to me for £49 with free installation, I refused as others said they got it for free but Sky would not budge.

£49 is a good price to pay cos Sky+ is the bees-knees !!

We saw something like this last year we had ordered Sky+ then i went shopping at local centre told my otherhalf the offer they had on it was to new customers only.
My otherhalf then rang sky told them about the deal i had seen. Told him new customers only he replied i have been with you since day one they said sorry he told them to stuff it. They rang back and said sorry and did us a good offer.

No harm in trying!!!!!!!!!!!!

I canceled Sky about 2 months ago, just got a call to come back with free installation and Sky+ box free.

You'll always get Sky+ at a good price when you tell them you're cancelling, just make sure they don't fob you off with a refurbished box. I have no idea how I lived without it now.

I am a gadget kind of guy but invariable the gadgets are shiite. There is one exception its sky+. its not only the bees knees its the queen bees knees. Its brilliant. Its fandabbiedozi. If you are getting divorced make sure u get the sky+. Its better than sex(am I getting carried away). ANyway looks an ok deal. But get sky+ somehow.

HD is shiite for £120 (£240 if u have 2 boxes) a year by the way as your plasma /lcd tvs make ordinary tv look great. This proves I am not a sky stooge.

Got a sky+ box and installation for nothing last month after we had phoned up to cancel and it really is an excellent little gadget that makes recording TV a doddle.
