hello im annoyed with my shopping trip

hey all, went to tesco, as its either there or morrisons and morrisons not that cheap.

so anyways the plan is to buy mainly value stuff, as not made of money and if i were, i'd still be pretty tight fisted :)

managed to get johnsons wipes box of six for a fiver, BARGAIN so i bought two, stock up and all that. and then this is where it all goes downhill ha ha.

fruit and veg aisle, tesco value banana's and tesco value apples being discontinued, not good as my darling daughter eats her way through three bags of each a week. gonna cost me a bomb now. anyway no longer do tesco value chopped tinned tomatoes, so cheapest tin is 42p, doesnt seem alot but seeing as i use these as a base to almost everything i cook, chili, curry, pasta sauce, bolognese etc etc. you can see how this is going to get expensive yeah.

so look in bread ailse for cheap but not value bread (cos he dont like it-men) special offer things inbetween two stacks of kingsmill 3 for 1.80, luckily i knew this was the deal for tesco so i looked very carefully a nd low and behold no deal on kingsmill. now this was not simply a mistake as the yellow promotion flappy thing was on the shelf covering the kingsmill price, and the shelf it was attached to was all kingsmill, as was the shelf below so cant claim it was meant for the bread below either. (when i say shelf i mean them staked bread crates)

aware of this shoddy behaviour i procceed to the frozen meat section, lots of discontinued products (few to my daughters dietry needs), managed to spot chicken healthy living, obvioulsy double checked the packets weights etc, was the correct one. then i see turkey breast steaks, and once again they have put out a different packet of meat, same weight same description just a different weight, AND again they have covered the actual price with this special yellow flappy thing. difference in price im sure u wondering 2.30 or somtheing like that, compared to a massive 5.50.

walked round to the milk and they have done it AGAIN. exactly the same!!!!!

i hate tesco.
