Suit for dinner dance

POSTED BY: andym6561 3 months, 4 days ago

Anyone bought a suit from Matalan? need one for a dinner dance and they have a grey jacket for £45 and matching trousers for £20 made by Taylor&Wright. The material is 56% wool.
Would this be better than the cheap polyester suits that Tesco are selling?

OH buys suits from Matalan for work. Taylor & Wright suits are pretty good and quite well cut, definitely better than Tesco cheapies.

Yes! My hubby bought a dinner suit from Matalan last week - £35 for the jacket and £15 for the trousers and it looks better than the hired suits he has had in the past and is half the price than a hire suit. He has a posh cumberband and matching bow tie to go with it and me being fussy i have to say he looks lush! Go for it - why waste your money on a named suit when there is beer to be had on the night!!
