If you want a basic machine for internet, email etc, it looks good value to me, but what do the experts think?

In this state I would agree, for anything more i.e games, a new PSU, RAM and graphics card are a prerequisite. The Mobo is capable upto 1066fsb

No problem, I think that LG monitor only has VGA input, so you would need some sort of a vga to scart adapter, but I'm not an expert in this field sorry.

hmmm its ok but the CPU looks like it's being discountinuted i fix computers as a full time job and also do it at weekends and ive seen several E machines power supplys fail so I presume they are fairly cheap components. I guess you could always buy it and break it to put on ebay..Vista worth £60 and the CPU maybe worth £40 dont really see thats its worth £160 you could build a better one for about £260 and infact I have via scan and it;s not like it's even new kit I think you will be getting what you pay for here somtimes its better to pay a bit extra because you will get better components thats my honest opinion anyway.

I agree the PSU may be a weak link in this machine if components are added to it. I myself would probably upgrade the PSU anyway.

Where did you get £260 from? And please give examples for building the same base unit from the original cost of £159.99 quoted in the original deal please
