advice needed on sound issue with new tv

Hi , weve brought a new tv today its a baird 32inch lcd tv with full hd.

We have a ps3 with hdmi and the sound is jumpy ... its fine in places bbut in other places it skips.

The ps3 works fin on our toshiba 26 inch lcd but is having problems on the baird one , could this just be a sound issue or a faulty tv/

Good Lord, I didn't know Baird still existed, I thought they went bust in the 80's, I'd try their website if I were you.

bound to be that the tv has a fault. Not surprising really being a baird. The lowest of the low.

and I bet it isnt full hd either!

so does mine but its not FULL HD. That is just a setting on your PS3 so your TV is probably downscaling the signal.

not the way to do it unless your TV is FULL HD (resolution is 1920 x 1080). I very much doubt a baird TV would be capable of this.

whats the model number (again)? Then I can tell you the resolution and best PS3 output setting.

neither of those tvs are FULL HD.

how much is the philips

32" is quite small

i would recommend this one as superb on ps3 and brill price.
