Is it possible to record from normal tv boxes to pvr/hdd recorders while still watching a different channel.I am looking for a pvr or something simaler that can do this and also have the option to record to disk or even usb would be great, incase i want to watch the recordings upstairs.To be able to play divx would also be a big bonus.I am not really bothered about the cost of the unit as long as it can do all these things, but £100 ish would be great.Cheers

You are probably looking for something a little more expensive....If you have virgin try

the starview cable twin tuner available from ebay and perhaps other companies on the web.

With this box you will be able to watch one and tape another one, but you need to add an extra cable (as it has a twin tuner).
