Tickets for Later with Jools Holland show

Due to the popularity of Later With Jools Holland and to make the allocation of tickets fairer, BBC Studio Audiences are once again operating random draws for this series.

To enter the first Later With Jools Holland random draw for 2008, phonelines and email registration forms are now open and will remain open until 5pm on Monday 8 September
You can apply at any time between the above dates and times as all successful applicants for the first random draw will be randomly drawn on Tuesday 9 September.

You may only apply for one date and will be allocated two tickets for that date.

I waited ages to go to one of these things before. It was comedians at the Glasgow studio - and they fill you with drink first so you laugh more.

However they had issued far more tickets than they needed and we never got to see the show.

As we left we picked up a box of beer each - and the security guard dug us up. I told him we were ****** off we never saw the show and this would make up for it - and that his salary was too low to take the grief of the BBC wasting peoples time.

This is made very clear as a possibility in the terms and conditions.

So stealing, and belittling someone's job, is appropriate redress for something you agreed to?

This is the same for any televised TV show, regardless of the channel or type. When tickets are free people will be less fussed about missing out and they can't have half empty studios.

Cheers, I've gone for this although I'd say there is a high sign up for these as I've never managed to get tickets in the past for this show

I got tickets in May when Robert Plant was on. It is a good night if you are open to all kinds of music. They first filmed the Friday show and then went 'Live' for the Tuesday show.
If you get tickets DO wear dark clothing otherwise they will shove you in the back where it will be difficult to see and there will be less chance of seeing yourself on TV.
We were allowed to take a small bag into the studio and they didn't stop me taking in my phone and camera, despite all the warnings. But they do have a free cloakroom service.
