How easy is this to setup on its own?.

If its possible i will take it at asking.

plug in 2 coaxial leads scart lead and power lead then call sky (as long as you already subscribe to them) and tell them you have just got a sky+ box and want to activate it to use the recording features and this will cost no extra on your bill

If you want to use the box to its full advantage I believe you need to fit a second cable from the sky dish to the box which isn't so easy.

I have a multi room box , will that make a difference?.

Also, how big is the hard drive on it?.

Def put me down as a buyer, as long as the hard drive is a decent size.

That's right, you'll probably need to change the LNB on your dish too

the hard drive is 80gb, have no idea about multi-room though

Edit - checking ebay most of these have just 40gb hard drive so to be sure ill say 40gb, but i have never run out of space
