Just seen this on Scan`s website for £54.92. Bargain considering it can overclock to 4Ghz.

Anyone got one who can review it?

EDIT: Price dropped to £53.76 :).

Good price for people who have motherboards that don't overclock too well.
Can be overclocked to 4ghz.
It's being overshadowed by the E7200/E7300 which overclocks even better plus they are not that more expensive.

E5200 v E7200
200 (800) FSB v 1066 (333) FSB
2mb v3 mb Cashe
12.5 v 9.5 multi

The E7 series has a 50% larger cache and Overclocks better.

In the end it's what you want it for
Good price though

Nice but I don't trust Scan after they sent me a used 6600GT once, I had masses of trouble trying to get them to take it back for a refund, they refused to accept it was used even with the pics I sent them with the serial number and everything, very poor service, was the first time I used them and the last time, cowboys. In the end I got so fed up with them I just sold it on Ebay and made a profit lol.

The OP has slipped up. The E5200 is £54.04 in Today Only at Scan, now that makes it a bargain.

Seems a deal. I'm still going strong with my E6600 though so I'm not budging yet.

I have used scan many times and have found there customer service excellent when you phone them they are generally helpful. I never use ebuyer or dabs now as both of there customer service is terrible I bought something from Ebuyer once using Google checkout (never buy using this if you think you are going to return the item) I send them back the item but they refused to accept they have recieved the item even though I have the DHL tracking number! complete idiots

Im not say that the item you had was not used but the fact is many IT suppliers get stuff sent back to them due to the distance selling act then the company will just sell it as new again when it is basicly not that I condone them doing this. I would give scan another go considering most people now get free delivery of a spend of £20 or more!

Scan used to be very poor for customer service but in the past few years they have turned themselves right around and are now very, very good.

I'd be tempted but I'm currently eyeing up a E7200 for my new build.

Scan have terrible customer service. Especially so if you go into the warehouse, they take an absolute age and their receipt system is horribly out of date. They've just purchased the two adjoining units at the Middlebrook centre though which will hopefully mean an overhaul of their systems.
