I've just bought one of these as a pressie as I thought it was pretty good value - the phone itself works out less than £20 if you take into account that you get £10 Vodafone credit and £10 Quidco (it tracked quickly for me!).

Although its not the latest phone out, for a silver 1.3 Megapixel phone with an MP3 player I thought this was a superb deal.

Quidco is not guaranteed and Phones4u dont seem to have a great record with quidco for PAYG from posts here.

So it should really be £39.95 (chance of a tenner from quidco).

Actually I've never had a problem from Phones4U at Quidco - I've order 5 in the past and all have tracked within one day (including this one) apart from one where I had to put in an enquiry - where I got my tenner a month later.

I'm sure *most* intelligent people can work out the "after Quidco bit"

Aree with OP. Just ordered 2 x phones via Quidco and both have tracked within 10 minutes of ordering. Personally, never had a problem with Phones4u tracking or payment.

But as already said it's never guaranteed and I'm sure most "intelligent" people would know that.

If you buy via Quidco there's a very big chance the won't honour + they keep you hanging on for days, rubbish company.

This phone is a bit rubbish. All I've heard is things about it breaking and just generally not being very good. I'd give it a miss personally.

The missus has had two over the years and never had problems with either.

1st was free (Black) on 12 month contract which expired last December.

2nd was free (Lilac) on 12 month contract which expires this December.

I've got one and I'd say it's good value at the price. The only problem I've found is with the touch sensitive front screen. It seems to work by detecting the heat from your fingertips and I've found that when I take the phone out of my pocket in cold weather the sensors seems to go beserk and the screen just flashes through random menus for 30 secs or so until the temperature has stabilised. Other than that it's not a bad phone.
