why bother? when you can get first generation ipod touch 16gb for 159 pounds from refurbished apple store?

does it matter if it ships from hongkong? I don't mean that cheekily, just wondering if the company has to be in the UK or not, its just that the link i listed showed free UK postage, and as far as I can see, you can pay through paypal which means your secured.But if theres been bad reports from that company or its UK only companies, then I understand and apologise.

I'd rather have a brand new product at a cheaper price than one that has the same storage, is second hand, and is dearer.The term refurbished is a very very loose term, having worked in a mobile phone repair centre for a few years, repairing and "refurbishing" phones, it is just a word to describe an authorised second hand item, that can be purchased from ebay or Gumtree for the same price, if not less, but you aren't buying it from the manufacturer.As for warranty, it may have a limited warranty, maybe only 3 months or so, which is hardly worth it
