Have Amazon stopped their after you buy price guarantee ???

I bought guitar Hero 3 for Wii for £39.98 two weeks ago from Amazon, then on Thursday it was posted on HUKD @ £30.67. Requested the difference be refunded and received a rejection email, part of which said,

"Please be informed that only orders placed on or before September 1, 2008 are eligible for a price difference refund under the Post-Order Price Guarantee policy. "

Is anyone else aware of this change by Amazon ??

Thanks....... Shame...... Just involves a bit of faffing about really. If the price drops within 30 days I'll just reorder the same item and return it using the original items order number - as long as it's within the 30 days of course......

Just got caught out on this with some hybrio batteries - they gave in after I whinged at them but said it was a 1 time deal - Gonna make Amazon a lot less attractive for christmas purchases imo

As an aside when u return it just say the item did not live up to its requirements and make up a reason (I returned Spore as it was rubbish but used the DRM as my reason) and the postage is free.
