Does anyone know if this is for a proper shower or does it push onto the taps? The description doesn't seem very clear

You stick the hose on your bath mixer tap shower outlet.

It certainly doesn't look like a full shower unit. Where is the temperature control? If it's labelled as 'single setting' then that usually means that the temperature is controlled at the source ie. the taps.

From the description given by Argos, this sounds exactly like the kind of thing that you fit to your taps.

He means a proper shower head that you screw onto a proper shower controller... not the tap-based thing your granny uses.

I bought this and it looked naff, ended up taking it back and changing it for this one:

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...SHOWER+KIT.htm

£5 more but looks so much better.

Also the shape of the shower head on this one means the water doesnt spray out very well.

agreed. I bought a similar one albeit for a much higher price but the shower is useless. Avoid.
