Really want to get one of these but the price keeps dropping so I'm not sure whether to wait! Was £240.41 on Amazon yesterday and £245.41 a couple of weeks ago!

Still gutted that i couldn't get hold of the 400D at Sainsburys after putting in a military type plan to get one. I can't bring myself to pay this price when i know there was a better deal only yesterday... holding on for the Christmas/ New Year sales now in the hope of a sub £200 dslr. Heat added.

Hi, ive been yesterday to PC World and they are doing D40 for 270£. Knowing that they price march minus 10%, you might get your D40 for under 200£. That is what i want to do, anyway.
Hope it helps

the only reason they tell u shop only is a con, its to get you in the shop hoping u will buy summit, if u cant but it direct online then why sell it in store only? how many people get conned on here due to this same scam by these firms who claim cheap laptops for £100 and then goto the shop to find out they only ever had 1 in stock....nice camera and im thinking this will drop again, i wouldnt buy anything electric till closer to xmas word is there will be some huge sales this year.

Well I called them as I checked online to see if there was any stock at my local store (Peterborough), and there was none. So got them to price match over the phone and ordered over the phone

Same here, no stock locally but available for free home delivery - otherwise I would have taken a print of the Amazon deal down to the store. Shame I have to wait 3-4 days for my new toy to arrive though!
