Hi RedIron

Gravesend delivery can be done, I can also help you setup and answer any questions you may have.

There is also a very good aquatic shop in Northfleet.

Thanks

Iain

It was all working last time i used it, but there is not a plug on the swtich atm so can not test.

Just as an example, the lighting unit is about £20 barnd new and the fitlers are the same i think.

Not all the filters are required, I have just got one in another tank but the more you have, the less you will have to clean.

Please don't jump into it straight away, research some forums, and although it takes no time at all to maintain daily (good clean every 2-3 weeks), it can be costly if you put the wrong fish together.

HTH

My old man used to keep tropical fish so I know a little, the pet shop would help me choose the right fish to start up anyway

Is there any room for negotiation in the price? If I do make an offer I wouldn't be able to pay until Friday if that's OK?

Are you interested in any trades by the way?

I need the $$$ for Marine tank equipment so can't really drop the price. If you offer the asking price I will delvier for free.

Weekend is fine to sort it out, not in any rush really.

Thanks

Would just like to add , that you cant just add water and fish straight away, you need to let water sit in the tank for at least 3 weeks before adding a couple of hardy fish like Danios. just hate it when ppl just bung the water in and put 5 fish in straight away and the all die within 2 hours.
cheers rant over

Good point badronald, this is why I would perfer someone to look into it before jumping in head first. 3 weeks seams a bit exessive though. after cycling the tank for 7 - 10 days providing the water tests are fine, it should be ok to start adding some hardy fish.

Also the water has to be treated before it is added to the tank.

Thanks

Iain

true but i have had to set up a tank really quick to accommodate new fish and had them in three days later and there all fin in my tank 3 months on. im sure you dont have to leave it 3 weeks to cycle maybe 12 days but i know what you mean about not adding the fish straight away

http://www.reptileforums.co.uk/fish-...s-cycling.html

hope this helps ;)
